Sub Deity
Sub deities, also known as Upa Devatas, are divine beings worshipped alongside the main deity in a Hindu temple. They support the primary deity’s cosmic role and represent various aspects of protection, prosperity, wisdom, and spiritual balance. Each sub deity has a specific purpose, blessing devotees with health, success, courage, or harmony. Their shrines within the temple complex provide devotees an opportunity to offer prayers for complete spiritual well-being.
